Beilun New District Times—Two projects in our district signed at Smart City Expo

On the morning of September 7, 2012, the signing ceremony of the second China (Ningbo) Smart City Technology and Application Products Expo was held at the Ningbo Shangri-La Hotel. A total of 23 projects in fields related to smart city construction such as IoT, cloud computing, smart transportation, and smart education were signed. Our district's industrial robotic arm production project and new photoelectric sensor and accessories production project were signed at the conference.

It is understood that the industrial robotic arm production project was invested by Ningbo DZICS Industrial Robot Technology Co., Ltd. in our district. The CNC machine tool flexible feeding robotic arm in this project is mainly used as an automatic feeding and receiving device for various types of CNC machine tools. It can be supplied to domestic and foreign CNC machine tool manufacturers and can also be applied to the modification and upgrading of existing CNC machine tools. Currently, various machine tool manufacturers in China have introduced various special simple automatic feeding devices, but their applications are greatly limited as they are designed for processing specific types of parts. The universal automatic feeding platform produced in this project has no similar products in China and has broad market prospects. The new photoelectric sensor and accessories production project is mainly used for the R&D of new intelligent photoelectric sensor products and the processing and production of their metal shells. The products belong to the "National Key Supported High-tech Fields" catalog. Among them, the infrared elevator light curtain product has a technical level that is leading in China, and its production and sales rank first in the world. The visual artificial intelligence analysis sensor is an internationally pioneering product with completely independent intellectual property rights and is a typical IoT artificial intelligence sensor product. The high-precision synchronous control rotary encoder product is widely used in the field of motor automatic control and is used to fill domestic gaps and replace imported products. After reaching full production capacity, the project can achieve an annual processing capacity of 360,000 sets of metal shells for products such as infrared elevator light curtains, visual artificial intelligence sensors, metal shells, and high-precision synchronous control rotary encoders.
