At the invitation of government departments and relevant institutions in Switzerland and Italy, from July 1st to 7th, Chen Yu, Deputy Director of the Municipal Party Committee Organization Department and Director of the Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, led a delegation to Switzerland and Italy to carry out talent and intelligence introduction activities. Dai Xiang, General Manager of Ningbo DZICS Industrial Robot Technology Co., Ltd., accompanied the delegation on this visit.
The purpose of the delegation's visit was to seize the opportunity of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up, actively participate in and create our city's national-level "Belt and Road" comprehensive experimental zone, further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with Switzerland and Italy in the field of talent and intelligence, and actively carry out multi-level and multi-field practical cooperation with countries around the world and domestic cities, so as to provide talent and intelligence support for promoting the high-standard construction of Ningbo's China Manufacturing 2025 pilot demonstration city and continuously advancing the comprehensive, two-way, fair and win-win opening-up situation in our city.
During the visit, the delegation held talent and intelligence docking activities at Lugano City Hall in Switzerland and the headquarters of the Italian Family Business Association respectively. Director Chen Yu introduced Ningbo's human geography, urban construction, economic development and talent policies in detail, and signed relevant talent project cooperation agreements. In Switzerland, the delegation had in-depth exchanges with Mr. Borradori, Mayor of Lugano, Mr. Bettini, Deputy Mayor, and other relevant government officials, as well as the President of the Ticino Family Business Association, chamber of commerce representatives, and the person in charge of the Swiss Silk Road Alliance. The Ticino Silk Road Alliance and the Ningbo International Talent Exchange Association signed a talent exchange cooperation agreement and established a liaison office in Ningbo to carry out in-depth cooperation and exchanges in innovative talents and projects in education, science and technology, enterprises, finance and other fields. In Italy, the delegation had in-depth exchanges with Ms. Zanbon, President of the Italian Family Business Association, and some members, signed a talent project cooperation agreement, and reached a consensus on setting up a liaison window in Ningbo. The chairman of Zanbon Group was very optimistic about Ningbo's development prospects and planned to carry out project cooperation in the field of life and health in Ningbo. He would send senior executives to Ningbo for in-depth docking and negotiations in the near future.
In addition, the delegation also held talks on talent project cooperation with Zurich Innovation Park, Swiss-China Innovation Center, USI University in Switzerland, and the Italian National Artists Association, and newly established talent introduction and cultivation workstations in these two countries to further deepen the attraction of talent projects from European developed countries to Ningbo for innovation and entrepreneurship.
